FLIR MR40 Moisture Pen with Built-in Torch

Made for builders, building inspectors, remodelers, pest control professionals and building contractors, FLIR's MR40 is a pocket-sized, rugged 2-pin moisture meter made for testing the level of moisture in wood and common building materials.

The FLIR MR40 is uniquely designed, with pen-like shape that's compact, easy to handle and portable. The end of the probe has two sharp pins which are made for insertion into the material you want to test and includes a pin cap for covering these over when the MR40 isn't in use. The pins can be replaced with a spare set (included) when damaged.

Once inserted, the MR40 will display the detected level of moisture on the built-in LCD screen as a percentage reading. It'll also sound an audible tone depending on the range found, with ranges of 5-12%, 13-60% and 60%+ all available.

Working in the dark? No need to swap tools - the MR40 also includes a built-in torch to help you see what you're doing.
