One of the most effective tools for measuring insulation levels on the market today, the Fluke 1503 makes it easy to carry out troubleshooting, commissioning and preventative maintenance work.
Shaped like a conventional Fluke digital multimeter, the 1503 insulation tester is portable, easy to hold in one hand and is simple to use by any professional. To test, simply make the necessary connections, turn the rotary dial on the front of the meter and the 1503 will do the rest!
This insulation tester is capable of measuring insulation levels using test voltages of either 500V or 1000V, giving it effective insulation resistance measurement range of 0.01MΩ up to 2000MΩ. The ability to carry out AC/DC voltage measurements up to 600V and earth bond resistance measurements from 20Ω to 20kΩ are also included as part of this tester's functionality.
Testing range not wide enough on this meter? Fluke also produce the Fluke 1507 insulation tester which allows measurements of insulation up to 10GΩ!
