The Hanna HI-83300 is a compact photometer suitable for photometric and pH measurements. It has 60 programmed methods for analysing 37 water quality parameters with an absorbance measurement mode. The HI-83300 doubles as a pH meter with a digital pH/temperature electrode input.
The HI-83300 integrates a reference detector and focusing lens to eliminate errors from light fluctuations or cuvette imperfections. It uses LEDs, narrow-band interference filters, and a silicon photodetector to measure 37 parameters from aluminium to zinc.
The absorbance mode supports CAL Check standards and permits measurements at five wavelengths (420 nm, 466 nm, 525 nm, 575 nm, 610 nm) to develop custom concentration curves. The meter has two USB ports and a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery.
