The Hanna HI-83306 is a compact, multi-parameter photometer that measures 16 key water quality parameters using 23 programmed methods. It includes an absorbance mode for performance verification and custom concentration-absorbance curves. Key environmental parameters include nitrate, phosphorus, and dissolved oxygen.
Its optical system integrates LEDs, narrow-band interference filters, a focusing lens, a silicon photodetector, and a reference detector. The digital pH electrode stores calibration data internally, and the built-in thermistor compensates for temperature variations.
Validate system performance with CAL Check standards and select from four light wavelengths (420 nm, 525 nm, 575 nm, and 610 nm) for custom chemical methods or educational applications involving the Beer-Lambert Law.
The meter has two USB ports and an internal rechargeable 3.7 V lithium-polymer battery.
