HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter

The HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter can be used to determine the leading phase of any two phases in a three-phase conductor system.

To determine phase rotation, the HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter is used to take readings on two phases in both directions. The user can then see which phase is leading and which phase is lagging by looking at the readings on the HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter’s large, easy-to-read, 3-inch meter face.

This PRM-100 is a dual-range instrument: 0-5kV and 0-15kV. The HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter’s upper range can be extended to 45kV when it is used with OPTIONAL R-45 Resistor Sticks. It has an operating frequency of 50/60Hz and consists of two sticks, a connecting cord and ground lead.

The HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter is also supplied with two HD Electric 025-PLPS-5 Overhead Hook Brass Probes allowing it to be adapted for overhead applications. This instrument can be used with OPTIONAL underground probes for checking the phase rotation of underground systems.

Further to this, the HD Electric PRM-100 Phase Rotation Meter is equipped with universal splines for hotstick attachment and strain relief fittings designed to reduce cable damage at the point of highest stress.
