The Martindale EZ664 Advanced Socket Tester (as defined by the Health & Safety Executive) detects twenty-eight fault conditions and checks the mains voltage level. It also assesses the safety of the earth wiring by performing a non-trip earth loop test, displaying the results across six distinct ranges, from below 1.7Ω up to 500Ω.
For testing, the EZ664 is connected via a standard 13 amp plug or flying leads. Standard 4mm jack plugs supply and connect both lead sets to the tester. Pass or fail and fault types, indicated by LEDs, are identified from the table conveniently located on the front of the tester.
