Megger MIT417/2 Insulation Tester

The more powerful version of the Megger MIT415/2 - test insulation across a wider range with expanded test voltage of up to 1000V.

Handheld and portable for ease of use, the Megger MIT417/2 is a powerful insulation tester with selectable test voltages of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000V. It can test insulation levels of up to 200GΩ. Dedicated testing functions for voltage (both AC and DC), continuity, polarisation index (PI) and dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) are also included as standard.

The MIT417/2 is made with safety in mind; a test inhibit function which works even if the fuses are blown is designed to automatically stop testing should the meter be accidentally connected to live circuits. The MIT417/2 is also CAT IV 600V rated.

Megger's MIT400/2 series insulation testers are made tough with rugged, almost indestructible ABS case with IP54 weatherproofing. The case also includes a built-in kickstand, allowing the meter to be propped up on a surface and used hands-free.
