Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers

The Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers can be used to solve problems of space, user strength and safety when applying high levels of torque to a bolt. These tools increase the amount of torque applied using a torque wrench, thereby allowing the operator to utilise a smaller torque wrench for high-torque applications.

The Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers are available in four models that differ in regards to their ranges, torque multiplication ratios, and input and output dimensions; please see the table below for further details.

Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multiplier models with a torque multiplication ratio of 25:1 may be equipped with an anti-wind-up ratchet designed to contain the forces created during tightening; this additional component improves the multipliers' safety and ease of operation. Additionally, each Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multiplier is equipped with an aluminium reaction arm; however, reactions in different styles and/or constructed from alternative materials are also available. Please contact our sales team PRIOR to purchase for further information.

All of the Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers have a lightweight, compact design and a diameter of 72mm. This makes them suitable for use in tight spaces as they provide excellent access to applications. Furthermore, their light, minimalist constructions make them easy and safe to handle, whilst also improving their torque capacity.

The Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers also share a torque multiplication accuracy of ±4% and each one is supplied with a unique calibration certificate to ensure the accurate calibration of input torque for critical applications. The Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers are calibrated from 20% of their maximum capacities.

These instruments can also be fitted with electronic torque transducers (NOT included, please call for details), making the Norbar HT-72 Series Compact Handtorque Multipliers suitable for precise torque monitoring applications.
