The Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers can be used to increase the amount of torque applied to a bolt. They are available in two models with different ranges and true torque multiplication ratios; please see the table below for further details.
Model Code | Model Name | Range | True Torque Multiplication Ratio | Input/ Output |
NOR-17022 | Norbar 17022 HT4 Series Handtorque® Multiplier | 3000 N.m | 15.5:1 | 1/2" Input 1" Output AWUR |
NOR-17021 | Norbar 17021 HT4 Series Handtorque® Multiplier | 4500 N.m | 26:1 | 1/2" Input 1" Output AWUR |
These Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers are accurate to ±4% and can be purchased with an OPTIONAL UKAS calibration; please contact our sales team for details PRIOR to purchase. The Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers’ high torque multiplication ratios mean that the user only needs a small torque wrench to apply a high level of torque to the bolt. As a result, limitations of space no longer pose a barrier to performing high-torque applications.
Also adding to the practicality of the Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers is the inclusion of an angle protractor, designed for easy torque and angle tightening, and an anti-wind-up ratchet which enables safer and more practical operation. These features ensure that applying high levels of torque remains safe and is not subject to limitations of the user’s strength, thereby expanding the multipliers' scope-for-use.
The versatility of the Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers is further improved by their robust construction making these tools suitable for use within rugged environments. This durability also means that the Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers have long service lives and require very little maintenance.
The Norbar HT4 Series Handtorque® Multipliers are supplied in a carry case with a replacement square drive. They are resilient, reliable and effective instruments providing a solution to applications requiring high levels of torque that are also subject to limitations of space, safety and/or user-strength.
