Each of these models is accurate to ±3%, ensuring compliance with ISO 6789-2:2017, and is supplied with a traceable calibration certificate allowing individuals to adhere to more stringent quality control processes. The Norbar Professional Torque Wrenches are factory calibrated to ±3% and are equipped with a new mechanism designed to ensure that they retain their accuracy over a greater period of time.
The Norbar Professional Torque Wrenches’ unique TimeStrip® feature will give a visual indication when the tools are due for re-calibration. The TimeStrip® feature includes an indication for 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and a year. (Timestrip® is a registered trademark of Timestrip UK Ltd).
Further to this, the Norbar Professional Torque Wrenches’ ‘harmonic drive’ scales ensure that these tools are the easiest and most accurate torque wrenches to adjust on the market. ‘Harmonic drive’ scales provide a long scale length thereby ensuring good resolution and subsequently accurate setting. Their large scale windows also improve scale visibility and therefore the accuracy of setting. As the Norbar Professional Torque Wrenches can be adjusted quickly, easily and accurately, the effort and time required for each application are significantly reduced, improving the user’s productivity.
Moreover, the secure, fast and intuitive push/pull locking mechanism eliminates the possibility of accidental adjustment of the set torque, whilst the square drive with finger grip on the top of the ‘mushroom head’ aids the user with running down the nut until resistance is met.
