Norbar 1 11/16” Bi-Square Industrial Torque Wrench – Dual Scale

The Norbar 1 11/16” Bi-Square Industrial Torque Wrench is specifically designed for rail track maintenance. It fits directly onto rail fishplate bolts removing the need for sockets and square drives.

Sockets and square drives are two components that can be accidentally separated from the main body of a traditional industrial torque wrench; the redesign of the Norbar 1 11/16” Bi-Square Industrial Torque Wrench, and subsequent removal of these components, ensures that nothing can be accidentally left on the track, thereby improving the safety of this instrument.

Like Norbar’s regular Industrial Torque Wrenches, the Norbar 1 11/16” Bi-Square Industrial Torque Wrench is optimised for accuracy and reliability. This instrument features both N.m and lbf.ft ranges:

• 300-1000 N.m
• 200-750 lbf.ft

Torques can be set on both ranges to an accuracy of ±4% of the reading, ensuring compliance with ISO 6789-1:2017. This instrument is supplied with an ISO 6789-1:2017 Declaration of Conformance. Moreover, when the set torque is reached, the Norbar 1 11/16” Bi-Square Industrial Torque Wrench’s ‘break back’ action will issue a visible and tangible signal to prevent the user from over-torquing the tool, improving both its accuracy and reliability.
