Use this handheld, portable and accurate meter to measure the insulation resistance of transformers, motors, cables, switches, electrical appliances and a wide variety of other types of electrical equipment.
The UT505A comes with several different selectable voltages of 50V, 100V, 250V, 500V and 1000V. This gives it the ability to measure insulation resistance levels from as low as 0.01MΩ up to a high threshold of 20.0GΩ, and a special low resistance mode can also be used to measure to 20.0kΩ. Both AC/DC voltages can also be measured up to 600V.
Several additional functions, such as DAR (dielectric absorption ratio), polarisation index and a comparison function for easy determination of the difference between tests, are also included.
