Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester - Kit 2
This kit consists of the Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester (supplied with the standard manufacturer’s accessories) and an array of additional PAT testing accessories, such as labels, logbook and the SimplyPats Manual PAT Testing Software. The Kewtech EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester is a non-downloading, battery-operated portable appliance tester. It is the intermediate tester in Kewtech’s EZYPAT/ SMARTPAT range and as such has been optimised for checking extension leads and Class I and Class II appliances with or without electronic on/off switches.

Like its sister product, the Kewtech EZYPAT PAT Tester, the EZYPAT-PLUS includes pre-programmed test sequences for Class I and Class II appliances and extension leads; clearly labelled function buttons allow the user to run these test sequences.
Further to this, the PAT Tester features an Appliance Pre-check allowing the user to ascertain whether the instrument-under-investigation is powered on or off prior to testing. This protects both the user and the instrument from any potential damage. Other features present include a Test Lead Null setting which nullifies the resistance in the test leads, thereby ensuring that resistance readings acquired by the tester are accurate.
Measurements are indicated on the large, backlit display along with a written PASS or FAIL indication. The tester’s backlight will also change colour in order to reflect the result; it will turn green to indicate a PASS and will turn red to indicate a FAIL.
The supplied Kewtech accessories allow the user to adapt the EZYPAT-PLUS PAT Tester in order to perform the above tests in a variety of environments. It is supplied with an EZYEARTH Earth Continuity Test Lead with Probe and Crocodile Clip, EZYLEAD Extension Lead Adapter, and EZYMAIN Mains Lead.
As mentioned previously, the PAT Tester is battery operated. It is able to perform up to 1400 tests over the course of the replaceable battery’s lifetime. It can be used to check appliances such as TVs and computers, as well as extension leads. It is a simple-to-use, adaptable and effective portable appliance tester.
