Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester Description

The Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester is an updated version of the Apollo 400. It has inherited practical features from its predecessor, such as a QWERTY keyboard and high-definition, colour display, whilst also including an array of updates made to its hardware and firmware. The Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester is ideal for testing mid-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5^th Edition Code of Practice. To this end, it features an expansive onboard memory (capacity to hold 2000 test results) and an eclectic variety of electrical tests, including:

Firmware Update

Adding to the measurement capabilities, versatility and adaptability of the Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester, are the updates made to its firmware. These include:

• New user permissions for Bluetooth
• A function to delete unwanted results
• The addition of an advanced search function to the ‘View Data Menu’, allowing the user to filter results according to specifications such as the PASS/ FAIL status of each test
• ‘After test’ function has been expanded to include an option for printing test results automatically
• The leakage test setup includes options for ‘Worst’ and ‘Last’ results
• Unnecessary listings may be deleted from predictive drop-down menus
• Information can be downloaded directly onto an Android device via USB on-the-go technology
