The Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester is an updated version of the Apollo 400. It has inherited practical features from its predecessor, such as a QWERTY keyboard and high-definition, colour display, whilst also including an array of updates made to its hardware and firmware. The Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester is ideal for testing mid-volumes of portable appliances in accordance with the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice. To this end, it features an expansive onboard memory (capacity to hold 2000 test results) and an eclectic variety of electrical tests, including:
These tests can be organised into up to twenty-five electrical and visual inspection sequences. In addition to this, when used with an OPTIONAL accessory, the Seaward Apollo 400+ PAT Tester can be used to perform point-to-point fixed appliance tests for earth continuity and insulation resistance.
