Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester Description

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is the most sophisticated PAT Tester in Seaward’s Apollo+ series. It has been optimised for performing health and safety checks as well as maintaining compliance with the IET 5^th Edition Code of Practice and to this ends includes a number of additional features not included with the Apollo 400+ or Apollo 500+, such as:

• A colour camera; facilitates the user’s ability to capture images of portable appliances which serve as evidence of visual inspections
• A universal risk assessment tool; allows the user to record hazards, calculate risk scores and plan and document corrective actions
• Onboard reports for fire detection and emergency lighting; ideal for health and safety management applications

In addition to these unique features, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester can also conduct the same extensive measurements as the other models in the Apollo+ range, including:

• Low current earth continuity test (with Zap circuit) guaranteeing accurate measurement

Results and photographs gathered using the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester may be saved to its extensive memory (capacity to hold 50 000 appliance records and 2000 images) making this model particularly well-suited to high-volumes of testing.

Like its sister products, the Apollo 600+ is able to transfer information to a PC via a USB cable or may send it via Bluetooth to an Android device. Alternatively, results may be transferred from the Apollo 600+ directly to a USB drive; this capability is unique to the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester.

Software Compatibility

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is compatible with Seaward’s PAT Guard 3.4 Software (NOT included). This software can be used to analyse results and create reports. Using this software images captured with the tester can be tagged against records pertaining to the appliance.

The PAT Guard 3.4 Software also includes Time Manager Software which is optimised for managing teams of workers.

Firmware Key Features

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is able to read and print 2D QR codes containing information about an asset’s ID, site, location, last test date and next test date. To accommodate these capabilities the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester must be used with the FREE Seaward QR Data View app (which allows the user to scan codes and then send information via email) and/or Seaward’s Test ‘n’ Tag Elite 2 Printer and Bluetooth 2D Elite Barcode Scanner, both of which are included in the Elite Kit (see below).

Hardware Features

 A removable, interchangeable and rechargeable battery pack ensures that downtime is kept to a minimum, especially as the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester can also be powered using a mains supply.

Furthermore, the test leads and probes supplied with this tester have been re-designed to make them more suitable for demanding applications.

As well as these updates, the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester still retains the practical and easy-to-use design of its predecessor the Apollo 600. For example, a full QWERTY keyboard and high-definition, colour display are still present on this model.

The Seaward Test ‘n’ Tag Elite Bundle Kit can be used to extend the capabilities of the above Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester, it facilities the Apollo 600+’s ability to read and print 2D QR codes. This kit includes:
