The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester is designed for testing large numbers of portable appliances and conducting health and safety checks. It includes electrical and safety tests required by the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice, such as:
These tests may be arranged into up to 100 electrical test and visual inspection sequences and the results may be saved to the Apollo 600+’s extensive memory (capacity for 50 000 records and 2000 images). The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester also includes a colour camera allowing the user to capture evidence of visual inspections. In addition to this, the tester includes a risk-based retest period calculator for determining a suggested retest period for each appliance according to the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice.
With regards to the Apollo 600+’s suitability for health and safety applications, it includes onboard reports for fire detection and emergency lighting and a universal risk assessment tool optimised for recording hazards, calculating risk scores and planning and documenting corrective action.
Information recorded by the Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester may be sent to an Android device or PC via Bluetooth or a USB cable. Alternatively, data can be downloaded directly to a USB drive, a capability unique to the Apollo 600+.

The Apollo 600+ features an interchangeable, rechargeable battery pack which works to reduce its downtime, particularly as this instrument may also be powered using a mains supply.
Further to this, the Apollo 600+ is supplied with a wiring harness, test leads with strong PVC insulation and robust test probes. These accessories ensure that the Apollo 600+ is better suited to demanding applications, thereby expanding its scope-for-use.
The Apollo 600+ retains a number of practical, easy-to-use features found on its predecessor, the Apollo 600. These include a QWERTY keyboard and colour, high-definition display.
