The SPS6000X Series has two models, SPS6225X and SPS6150X, with rated output voltages and currents of 200 V / 25 A and 100 V / 50 A, respectively, with a peak output power of 1500 W. To accommodate varying requirements, users can connect up to five identical SPS6000X chassis in parallel to enhance the total output power.
The models have a high-clarity 3.12-inch OLED display, an intuitive user interface that simplifies, and a minimum resolution of 10 mV / 10 mA. They also incorporate adjustable rise times for output voltage and current, list sequence programming, and built-in safety measures, including overvoltage, overcurrent, power limit, and overtemperature protections, safeguard devices under test (DUT) and the power supply itself.
The SPS6000X constant power mode dynamically adjusts the voltage and current ranges to maintain peak output. While the customisable rise and fall slew rates minimise inrush current risks. The discharge circuit ensures residual voltage on output terminals is safely dissipated after power-off, preventing potential hazards.
Remote control and monitoring through LAN, USB, and an optional USB-GPIB module. Analogue control for voltage or current adjustments via a 0-10 V signal and output monitoring terminals for real-time display of current or voltage changes through connected measurement instruments.
Parallel connections of up to five units achieve high power density and scalability. The negative terminals can float or connect to the chassis ground. Overcurrent, overvoltage, and overtemperature modes include visual alerts and user-friendly reset mechanisms.
