The Kewtech KT63 Plus 6 in 1 Multifunction Tester is an easy-to-use, 18th Edition installation tester. It includes the following tests:
- AC/ A & ACS/ AS RCD tests
- Phase rotation
- 250V, 500V and 1000V insulation tests with auto discharge
- Special DNO polarity tests
In addition to this, the multifunction tester can conduct PFC and PSC measurements without the user needing to alter the test probes. Its continuous live monitoring also prevents blown fuses and PCBs.
Moreover, the KT63 Plus includes anti-trip technology enabling it to conduct full no-trip loop testing (with a low likelihood of RCD uplift and noise interference) on all electronic and electromechanical RCD types above 30mA. The tester is able to conduct RCD tests on RCDs rated 10, 30, 100, 300, 500 and 1000mA. Furthermore, the multifunction tester includes a UK specific RCD test with auto-test memory which will display all six readings on the display for ease of reading. It also includes a memory for test lead resistance compensation.
For fast and simple test selection, the Kewtech KT63 Plus features a single rotary dial and four secondary function keys. To begin testing the user need only press the 'Test' button once, he/she can also engage the 'Lockdown Test' button to perform continuous, handsfree testing. Alternatively, the user can press the 'Test' button on the test probe, allowing him/her to perform measurements at a distance from the main unit.
Results are indicated on the large, colour, dot matrix display with backlight. PFC/ PSC readings are displayed at the same time as the Loop measurement. Finally, the tester has an ingress protection rating of IP54 and is compliant with BS7671. It is also supplied with an end-of-line calibration certificate.
