Megger LTW335 Downloadable Earth Loop Tester
Part of Megger's LTW300 range of earth loop testing instruments, the LTW335 is the only model in this range to come with built-in memory, allowing the user to store and download testing results into a compatible PC.
No more jotting down of testing results; simply use the LTW335 to perform a test, store it into the instrument's internal memory and then view your results back whenever you want. This makes this tester ideal for those who will be regularly testing earth loops in multiple areas, speeding up your testing as you're not wasting time making notes.
The Megger LTW335 is capapable of performing two wire testing and verification of loop impedance on a live electrical circuits without the need to disconnect the electrical supply. It's also equipped with a full non-trip loop test that ensures that the LTW335 will not trip out working RCDs of ≥30mA and a separate high current loop test can also be used when there is no risk of tripping an RCD.
When testing this earth loop tester constantly monitors the circuit and uses sophisticated noise detection circuitry to filter out the effects of electrical noise which can compromise the accuracy of testing results.
This tester is part of the LTW300 series, which consists of four testers. The following table outlines the difference between each of these instruments:
