Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches

The Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches provide a solution to tightening carbon/ graphite electrodes in order to improve the overall energy efficiency of the electric arc furnaces and prevent electrode sections from becoming lost in these furnaces.

There are three low range Norbar Electrode Wrenches available that vary in regards to their ranges and diameter sizes; please see the table below for further information.

The Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrench with a diameter of 8 inches is equipped with Norbar’s ‘Professional-type’ torque handle, whereas the Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches with 10-inch and 12-inch diameters include Norbar’s ‘Industrial-style’ torque handle.

All of the Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches will issue a clear signal when the set torque is reached and are accurate to ±4%, ensuring compliance with ISO 6789-1:2017 requirements. The Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches are supplied with an ISO 6789-1:2017 Declaration of Conformance.

Furthermore, the Norbar Low Range Electrode Wrenches feature a self-clamping action designed to increase the speed of torque tightening.
