Fluke's 83V digital multimeter is built for use in industrial applications, and is robust and versatile enough to carry out a wide variety of testing procedures on industrial-grade equipment and machinery.
As standard the 83V is able to carry out voltage testing on both AC and DC up to 1000V, resistance testing up to 10A, 20A for up to 30 seconds, frequency measurements and continuity/diode testing procedures. It can also be used to measre capacitance, with 10000μF capacitance range for components and motor caps.
The Fluke 83V includes an array of additional features that are useful in industrial environments such as MIN/MAX average recording, peak capture that can record transiests quickly and a relative mode to remove test lead interference. The multimeter is also entirely auto or manual ranging depending on preference, and includes various other additional features as well.
