Cable Identifiers
Instruments consisting of a transmitter, receiver and headset; they are optimised to positively identify high voltage cables before spiking and/or maintenance work takes place. These products are particularly well suited to noisy applications.

- Designed for use with HD Electric’s PF-50T Cable Identifier Transmitter
- Determine cable lengths and correct phases
- High test voltage (50VDC) allows cables of greater lengths to be tested

- Identify cable lengths and phases (with HD-PF-50R)
- Suitable for overhead and underground cables
- Red LED indication system

- Determine the correct phases of de-energised and discharged overhead and underground cables
- LED lights indicate all three phases simultaneously and shorted phases
- High test voltage for checking cables up to seven miles in length

- Identify phases of de-energised, discharged overhead/ underground cables
- 50VDC test voltage
- Transmitter, receiver, large copper alligator clips
- Heavy-duty boots and a carry bag
About Cable Identifiers
A Cable identifier is used by Electricity Distribution Engineers as an essential part of their equipment when reliable high-voltage cable identification is required. Cable identifiers can safely identify a dead (or de-energised) primary cable within a group of energised or de-energised cables. They can also identify cable lengths and phases, and live secondary cables, including neutrals.
