FLIR GF309 Furnace and Electrical Inspection Camera
FLIR’s GF309 is designed for use in high-temperature industrial gas/furnace applications, heaters/boilers, chemical/petrochemical as well as electrical and mechanical inspections, where temperatures exceed the use of a standard thermal camera, FLIR’S GF309 is a dual-use camera and calibrated for temperature measurement for both through-flame imaging, and predictive maintenance thermography, and measures temperatures from -40 °C to +1500 °C.
The GF309 has been specifically engineered for demanding utilities and can “see through flames” as it is equipped with a mid-wave infrared flame filter designed for use in high temperatures with an accuracy of ±2% (of reading for temperature ranges of +100°C), by accurately measuring temperatures across an entire surface the GF309 allows you to inspect hard to see areas, for faster and more accurate non-contact inspection methods, and can help limit downtime.
The mid-wave infrared spectrum allows the user to inspect fired tubes for coking and scaling, see slag and ash build up, and check burner alignment and flame impingement.
The camera features a tiltable OLED adjustable viewfinder, delivering crisp image and colour reproduction even in poor lighting and bright sunlight, in addition to a 4.3” colour LCD screen. The camera is loaded with features making it easy for users to capture videos and stills whilst effortlessly scanning large areas. FLIR GF309 cameras are recordable to any off-the-shelf video recorder for easy archiving and documentation. The camera supports GPS location tagging, allows you to create reports and analyses of your findings, supports radiometric JPG and video (15Hz), record digital video and the built-in digital camera features a 3.2 Megapixel sensor, autofocus, and two video lamps.
A detachable nickel coated heat shield is included and is designed to reflect heat away from the camera and camera operator due to the contoured design, improving user safety and comfort during inspections, especially in high-temperature environments.
The menu system is operated by a joystick and direct access buttons allowing you to easily access menus and settings making it intuitive and easy to use by professionals.
The storage system features 2 slots - Removable SD or SDHC Memory Card, (store more than 5000 JPEG images) as well as various other interfaces such as USB-A to connect to an external USB device, USB Mini -B to Data transfer to and from PC and USB 2.0 and HDMI for video.
