The Hikmicro Mini2/Mini2 Plus Thermal Imaging Camera is a durable infrared module specifically designed for use with Android smartphones. Offering a compact, easy-to-connect design, and battery-free operation, the Mini2-series is perfect for finding water leaks, insulation issues, air infiltration, and identifying electrical/mechanical faults. This thermal module is equipped with a 256 x 192px VOx detector, < 40mk IR sensitivity, and 25Hz frame rate which delivers smooth, detailed footage. Image enhancement algorithms ensure clarity, while support for a -20°C to +350°C temperature range enables accurate (±2°C/2%) temperature measurement. In addition to this, the Hikmicro Mini2 and Mini2 Plus offer adjustable emissivity, distance, and range settings to help you capture precise images and temperature readings regardless of the environment or surface. Other useful features include fifteen colour palettes, spot and area temperature measurements, and a high-temperature alarm.

Hikmicro Mini2-Series Imaging Functions

Offering fifteen selectable thermal colour palettes, the Hikmicro Mini2-series can be adapted to find problems easily. Furthermore, temperature measurement functions also make identifying faults quicker and simpler. The Mini2-series supports the following temperature measurements:

In addition to this, a High-Temperature Alarm will alert you, using visual and audible alarms, when the temperature exceeds the predefined level.

Hikmicro Mini2-Series Ergonomic Design

Encased in an IP40-rated aluminium alloy housing and drop-tested to 1m, the Hikmicro Mini2-series thermal module plugs directly into your Android smartphone. It draws power from your smartphone facilitating battery-less operation. The Mini2/Mini2 Plus is designed to run on little power, ensuring it will not compromise your smartphone’s battery life.

Additionally, it is supplied with an 18mm extended connector to enable use with smartphones in protective cases. It also includes a protective case and a 40cm extending cord making inspections through narrow openings or of difficult-to-reach places simple.

Hikmicro Viewer App

The Himicro Mini2/Mini2 Plus Thermal Imaging Modules are compatible with the free Hikmicro Viewer App for Android. This app provides a user-friendly interface as well as support for the following temperature measurement and imaging functions:
