VONAQ RapidTrace 700 LAN Tester / Wiremap Tester & Cable Fault Locator

The VONAQ RapidTrace 700 is used to test and certify structure cable continuity to TIA568A/B, USOC and ISDN standards.

With built-in memory for storage of up to 1000 records, fully downloadable to PC and with a large suite of different measurement procedures, this tool makes the process of cable verification and testing much simpler. It can be used to detect all common forms of problems on wiring schemes including open circuit wiring, shorts between pairs, split pairs, shield/screen continuity, shorted pairs, crossed pairs and pair reversals.

The RapidTrace 700 caries out a wiremap test that gives clear indication of any wiring faults and certifies cable continuity. Before the test takes place the tester will alert the operator if any telephone services on the line are active, allowing testing to be delayed until the line is freed up for testing. It's also possible to use the tester to select cable types and standards, generate a tone for cable tracing, select the velocity propagration of a cable and upload reports directly to a PC.
