Extech EX810 1000A AC Clamp Meter with IR Thermometer

Not just your basic digital clamp meter, the Extech is able to perform current measurements and a whole lot more besides.

When carrying out standard measurements of current this device allows users to measure from 0.1 all the way up to 1000A, making it suitable for both low current and high current applications. Since the device's jaws are 1.7" (43mm) in size, it easily accommodates conductors up to 750MCM or two 500MCM conductors at the same time.

The EX810 can also be used as a fully functional digital multimeter and can carry out AC/DC voltage measurements from 0.1mV to 600V, resistance measurements from 0.1 to 40MΩ, capacitance measurements from 0.001nF to 40000μF and frequency testing from 0.001kHz to 4kHz. It also includes the ability to carry out continuity, inrush and diode calculations as well.

One of the main features of this device that you won't find on other clamp meters is the inclusion of a non-contact infrared thermometer. This allows the EX810 to carry out temperature measurements in both °C and °F from a distance and it can measure from -58 to 518°F (-50 to 270°C).

The Extech EX410 is EN 61010-1 and CAT III 600V safety rated.
