The Kern MCC 250K100M Optimised Chair Scale is designed for use in retirement homes, rehabilitation centres, and clinics. It is suitable for frequent use and has been optimised to accommodate patients with varying medical conditions.

The Kern MCC 250K100M Optimised Chair Scale is an approved medical device according to 93/42/EEC and can be supplied with an OPTIONAL class III verification.

It features two steerable rollers, four wheels and locking rear brakes ensuring that this scale can be easily transported around medical centres, yet will remain stationary while the patient is being weighed. The large diameter of the rollers means that it is easy to move the chair across door thresholds, edges and gaps in elevators, thereby removing the need for patients to travel between rooms in order to receive medical attention.

The chair has also been designed to adapt to various patients. Its foldable armrests and footrests facilitate the easy transfer of patients of varying agility and sizes into and out of the chair. Furthermore, the contrasting colour of the seat, footrests and armrests ensure that they are clearly visible, making the Kern MCC 250K100M Optimised Chair Scale ideal for weighing dementia patients.  

In addition to this, the Kern MCC 250K100M’s seat has been optimised to offer support to fragile patients, whilst the Hold function ensures that patients who may struggle to remain still for prolonged periods of time can also be weighed. This function determines and freezes an average weight value allowing the medical professional and/or carer to attend to the patient before recording the measurement.

The Kern MCC 250K100M Optimised Chair Scale also features a BMI function which facilitates a more efficient calculation of the patient's weight category.

All measurements are indicated on the backlit, digital, LCD display located at the top of the chair between the carrying handles.
