The MI 3290 Earth Analyser is a multi-function device capable of carrying out various tests and diagnostics in earth analysis. It is mains or battery powered and built inside an IP65 rated case (IP54 when open) and is suited to those with experience in the field, the tester itself is simple to use, with a 4.3” colour touch screen, easy to read results and intuitive menu system, the tester can be used without the need for any special training. The screen provides the user with helpful message field warnings such as test information and warnings, battery level indication, a virtual keyboard, various indication messages and limits parameter indications which can be accompanied by a beep to warn the user.
Help menus are available which provide the user with diagrams illustrating the proper connection of the instrument to the unit that requires testing.
The user can customise test sequences which can be easily accessed from the main screen for quicker procedures. Autotests can be pre-programmed on PC with the Metrel ES Manager software and uploaded to the MI 3290 Earth Analyser.
Test results can be stored on internal memory and evaluated and archived at a later date on the PC software. The Metrel ES Manager software which is included is for measurement pre and post-processing: preparation of the test structure, result download, tree-view, table view and graphical view, storing and printing.
