The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras – 9Hz have been designed for use with drones and other sUAS. They are ideal for thermographers and drone operators who require a method by which to perform any of the following applications:
- Building and roof inspections
- Power grid inspections
- Infrastructure analysis
- Precision agriculture
- Public safety operations
These cameras are available in three 9Hz versions (30Hz versions are available here) which differ in regards to their lens sizes and fields of view. For further information, please see the table below.
Model Code | Model Name | Lens Size | FOV |
436-0019-00S | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 6.8mm, 45 x 34 | 6.8mm | 45° x 34° |
436-0020-00S | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 9mm, 35 x 27 | 9mm | 35° x 27° |
436-0021-00S | FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Camera, 13 mm, 25 x 19 | 13mm | 25° x 19° |
In addition to performing real-time, non-contact, aerial temperature measurements, the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras can be used to capture still, radiometric, thermal images with calibrated temperature data embedded in each pixel. These images may be saved to the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ onboard micro-SD cards.
Still thermal images can be saved as radiometric JPEG files ensuring that the embedded, calibrated temperature data is retained in each pixel; alternatively, thermal images can be saved in 14-bit TIFF formats. It is also possible to record real-time thermal footage in a MOV format. These cameras are also capable of supporting a simple power-in/ analogue video-out interface over a 10-pin mini-USB connector.
As the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are compatible with FLIR’s Tools Software, media captured using these cameras can be used to create reports and may be subjected to comprehensive post-flight analysis.
These cameras are also compatible with the FLIR Vue Pro mobile app via which the user is able to adjust the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras’ recording and control settings. Further to this, the user is able to alter the cameras' functions via PWM inputs emitted from the drone or sUAS’ controller.
As the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are designed for aerial applications, their image settings are optimised for this purpose. Furthermore, the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras support MAVLink integration and are field upgradeable. Field-upgradeability ensures that the FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are always equipped with the latest features and functions allowing them to meet the demands of the industry.
The FLIR Vue Pro R 336 Radiometric Drone Thermal Imaging Cameras are adaptable, versatile and reliable thermal imagers; they are ideal for capturing radiometric thermal data from an aerial perspective.
