The Martindale PD440 440V Proving Unit is extremely quick and easy to use, and requires very little input on the user’s part.
This Martindale device has been specially designed to be able to perform a thorough check on numerous types of voltage indicators. By performing a complete check of the system and its components, this proving unit is able to let the user know whether it is fully in compliant with all of the necessary Health and Safety regulations.
This Martindale instrument is able to be used with the following systems: the Martindale VI13700G and the recently released Martindale VI13700/2.
For added ease of use, the Martindale PD440 400V Proving Unit can also be used alongside other instruments such as Drummond and other types of filament test lamps. It is also able to be used with standard multimeters and two pole voltage indicators from several other manufacturers.
The ideal operating temperature for this proving unit is between -10 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees C with a maximum of 70% RH. It requires six LR6 / MN1500 1.5V alkaline batteries to operate.
