On the 16th October 2023, staff at PASS Ltd and Cuthbertson Laird indulged in home baked (and home bought) goods to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Organised by Katie Ludgate, Marketing Manager, and Charlotte Unsworth, Head of Purchase Ledger, Katie provides the following summary of our bake off success!

A Heartfelt Thank You for the Macmillan Cancer Bake Sale

We are absolutely thrilled to share the fantastic news about the Macmillan Cancer Bake Sale that took place on Monday 16th October across our locations. It was a day filled with warmth, generosity, and an abundance of delicious treats, all in the name of a great cause.

On the left side, three round tables stand against the wall. Traybakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, and a quiche adorn the tables. Charlotte, Joanne, and Arturs stand level with the back table. They are looking at the camera.

First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to each and every one of you who participated in this incredible event. Whether you were a passionate baker, a connoisseur of baked goods, or a dedicated supporter, your presence and contributions were truly astounding.

Our talented bakers crafted an array of delectable treats that delighted all. Paul Hollywood simply doesn’t have enough hands to give you all a shake!

Those of you who indulged in these goodies contributed generously, and we're delighted to announce that we raised £488.75 in donations.

But here's the exciting part: our company will match this amount, bringing the grand total to an astonishing £977.50!

In an office kitchen, a pentagonal table shrouded in a blue tablecloth stands in the centre and is surrounded by blue chairs. On the table are an array of baked goods including traybakes, cupcakes, brownies, and blondies.

This remarkable achievement underscores the compassion and unity within our PASS and Cuthbertson Laird’s communities. Your dedication will go a long way in supporting the vital work of Macmillan Cancer Support.
