To the right of the image large white text reads "PASS Walking Club's First Outing". It sits on a photo background of green farmland, trees, and horses. In the bottom right of the image is a circular photo of the Walking Club taking a selfie together in a green field. The selfie is framed by a green circular border.

Last month was the inaugural outing of PASS' newly founded Walking Club. Our ramblers were treated to stunning scenery and (surprisingly) sunny weather, as Club President Carole explains below.

Our first outing was through the stunning Guisborough Woods on a sunny Sunday morning.

From left to right Noah (a small boy dressed on black), Helen (Noah's mother; she stands with an arm around his shoulders), Tony (an older man wearing a hat, blue rucksack and holding walking sticks), and Charlotte (a woman dressed in jeans and black waterproof jacket) stand on a grassy bank. They smile at the camera. Behind them are rolling fields of green of yellow broken up by rows of hedges and trees.

There are 3 trails to choose from: Green 1.5 miles, Red 2.5 miles, and White 3.75 miles. We decided to go for the Green route and work up to the White, but somewhere along the way we went a bit off-piste and did 3.5 miles - which all added to the fun!

Tony stands smiling at the camera. He is wearing a grey hat, fleece and blue jeans. A blue rucksack is on his back and he is holding two walking sticks - one in each hand. He stands on a grassy path framed by silver birch trees that have just begun to bloom. Behind him green and yellow fields stretch all the way to the horizon.

[Our Walking Club includes members] of different ages and abilities. Little Noah doubles as a mountain goat and his mum, Helen, wasn't far behind him! However, Charlotte, Tony and I [Carole] weren't too far behind them either.

Tony's head and torso are in the foreground as he is taking a selfie of himself and the rest of the group stood behind him (from left to right: Charlotte, Carole, and Helen). The group are in a grassy field. Green hills and tall trees can be seen in the background.
