Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester Description

The Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester can be used to verify that fixed wiring electrical installations, whether domestic, commercial or industrial, have been installed correctly and in accordance with IEC 60364, HD 384 requirements.

 As such it is able to test the following electrical parameters:

  • AC voltage and frequency
  • Wiring polarity
  • Insulation resistance
  • Continuity and resistance
  • Loop and line resistance
  • Prospective earth fault current (PEFC/IK)
  • Prospective short circuit current (PSC/IK)
  • RCD switching time
  • RCD tripping level (ramp test)

The Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester also includes a phase sequence indicator and can be used to test pulse current sensitive RCDs (type A). Moreover, this instrument includes a variable RCD current mode, allowing the user to tailor the multifunction installation tester to the application. Alternatively, the user can run an automatic RCD test sequence. The results of RCD tests are clearly indicated using a PASS/ FAIL indicator on the large, backlit display with a wide viewing angle.

Further to this, the Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester includes high-current loop tests which can be tailored to ensure that they do not trip RCDs. This improves testing efficiency as loop impedance can be measured without having to perform time-consuming checks designed to avoid RCDs.

Adding to this product’s adaptability is its variety of insulation test voltages and selectable voltage measurements between L-N, L-PE and N-PE. Furthermore, the Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester is supplied with slim reach probes allowing the user to easily measure hard-to-access panels/ places, again adding to this instrument’s versatility and expanding its scope-for-use.

With regards to the accuracy of its measurements, the Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester is equipped with a Zero Adapter which will compensate for the resistance present in test leads. Further to this, its Auto-Null function can be used to subtract test lead resistance from measurements and will store these values in its onboard memory even after powering down. It is also programmed to perform self-tests ensuring that it will always provide the user with a high-level of performance.

Measurements indicated on the Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester’s display are written to a high resolution, adding to the accuracy of this instrument. It is possible to view mains voltage and frequency measurements simultaneously via the Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester’s large, backlit, dual display.

FREE Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester Description

Like the above Beha-Amprobe ProInstall-75-UK Multifunction Installation Tester, the free Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester is suitable for use in domestic, commercial and industrial environments. It can be used to test for and measure AC and DC voltages to 690V as well as check circuits for continuity.

The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester will automatically determine whether the detected voltage is AC or DC and will also indicate its polarity. The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester includes an LED display for indicating the voltage range and an LCD display for indicating the voltage reading. Furthermore, the tester will alert the user via an audible alarm when it has detected voltages in excess of 50V AC or 120V DC.

The Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester also features a dedicated LED for indicating continuity.  This tester will perform continuity tests automatically.

In addition to testing for voltage and continuity, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester can be used to perform single-pole tests for checking phase polarity, as well as detect single-phase voltage using the main probe, when performing this check the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester will issue an audible and visual alert when a voltage is detected. This tester is also capable of two pole phase rotation indication.

Moreover, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester can be used to trip test 10mA and 30mA RCDs. It features two push buttons which allow the user to trip these components remotely in order to ascertain whether they have been wired correctly. Furthermore, when both buttons are pressed the instrument is in low impedance mode which eliminates the effects of ghost voltages on the measurements, adding to this instrument's accuracy.

Conversely, when neither of these buttons is pressed the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester remains in high impedance mode which prevents the accidental tripping of RCDs and ELCBs, thereby adding to the safety of this instrument.

In addition to this, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester features a safety rating of CAT III 690V / CAT IV 600 V.  It also has an IP rating of 64, ensuring that it is resistant to splashes and dust. These ratings, combined with its GS approval and reinforced components make the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester suitable for use in a variety of environments, including rugged industrial settings.

Further to this, the Beha-Amprobe 2100-Beta Two Pole Voltage Tester includes an extra-long 1.5m test lead with a wear indicator, which adds to both the safety of this instrument and the ease with which difficult-to-access circuits can be tested.
